Awww HELL!

I just blew Mrs. Who’s template – and she doesn’t know it yet!!

Actually, I upgraded to the latest release of WordPress – version 2.1 – which is supposed to have many enhancements and bug fixes. The database structures have been revamped, and it is also supposed to be more strict in its code-processing.

Yup – it sure is. Something in the theme files prevents her blog from opening.

The theme that I had modified for Mrs. Who is ‘Misty Look‘ – and it seems that not only my modified version, but the original version and the author’s updated version give the same ’500 Internal Server Error’ when using them. Oddly, the WP “default” theme does the same thing, but other themes seem to work just fine.

Uh-oh. She just pulled into the driveway… Maybe she won’t notice if I use the original theme I had tried to ‘sell’ her in this post.

*fingers crossed*

Pray for me!

    Hi there,

Everytime I think my blog is 100% working, I get another ’500 Internal Server Error’.

Are you still getting the 500 error sometimes? I’m using MistyLook too, and frustratingly, I get the error. Intermittently. I keep thinking it’s something on my end (plugin, editing stuff, etc.), but maybe it’s the theme, or a combo of the theme and FireFox or FF itself? (someone suggested FF was the culprit)

Any thoughts you may have on this are greatly appreciated!

    Melissa
