Quote of the day:
Woo-hoo! Americans standing up for America…BUT the Dem-controlled Congress is trying to tell us we’re a selfish mob, and Congress is trying to minutely monitor what we say. And trying to say that our ‘getting in their faces’ at Town Hall meetings is wrong, when Obama himself said the American people needed to get in the faces of those who disagree?
We’re just exercising our Freedom of Speech. If you don’t like it….TOUGH! Being in power doesn’t mean a free pass to abuse that power.
You can have power over people as long as you don’t take everything away from them. But when you’ve robbed a man of everything, he’s no longer in your power. -Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn
We ain’t gonna take it anymore! We, the people, have handed the power to you to run our country. And we, the people, can take it back. Not easily, no. But through Tea Parties, Town Hall meetings, using our freedom of speech and voting, we can make sure you use the power the way we want and need you to. Isn’t that how you Dems gained power? Surely you must realize it can be taken from you in the same way! That’s the beauty of our system. And empty suits and empty words will not last for long. And you are doing it to yourselves! As Frederick Douglas said:
Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are people who want crops without ploughing the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; they want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. The struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, or it may be both. But it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand; it never has and it never will.
And so we Americans demand: Give us our country!
