Thank you!
Your prayers have seemed to work. My sister is doing much better. She should get to go home today. Her meds have been upped, and she’s also back to her usual pregnant-hormonal self. (Note to self…be prepared to run in a zig-zag pattern if she reads this!) Baby is doing fine and all that, with an expected arrival in January.
And as expected, my mother did confront b-i-l about getting ‘fixed’. He told her he would…just as soon as she presented him with a letter signed by Pope Benedict XVI saying it was okay for him to do so. My poor Mom…she sees the world in black and white. Except that what everyone else calls ‘black’ she calls ‘white’ and vice versa. And she’ll never win an argument with her son-in-law. She’s a firm believer in beating someone over the head again and again until you agree with her. And my sis and b-i-l have some of the hardest heads around, so poor Mom will have to be hitting them for a lo-ooo-oooong time.
(I didn’t inherit the hard head, of course. I’m never stubborn. And I’ve learned to ignore the lightning strikes that happen every time I say that. Heh.)
Thanks again for all your prayers and thoughts!

Glad to hear that everything is going well now. Looks like you have first hand knowledge of what happens when an instoppable force meets an immoveable object. You may just be able to rewrite physics as we know it.

What a great description.
